By booking, you agree to the following information, terms & conditions and policies...

 

Canine Keepers – Home Dog Boarding, Dog Walking, Pet Drop-Ins & Training

 

Home Dog Boarding

  • Dogs receive a minimum of two 30-minute walks per day, plus playtime and enrichment.
  • Exercise will be tailored to your dog's age, health, and needs.
  • Dogs may be walked on lead or off lead, individually or in groups (where agreed & suitable).
  • Tester nights will be required for first-time boarders.
  • Dogs must arrive wearing a collar and I.D tag (will be removed at night or if crated).
  • We reserve the right to refuse or end a booking if a dog is not suitable for our home environment.

Health & Vaccinations

  • Dogs must be up to date with vaccinations, flea, tick, and worm treatments.
  • Proof of all treatments will be requested before boarding.
  • Owners must inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, medications, or behavioural concerns.
  • Medications must be provided with clear instructions.
  • We reserve the right to seek emergency veterinary treatment if required. Any veterinary costs remain the owner's responsibility.

Puppies

  • Puppy boarding is accepted at our discretion.
  • Puppies must be fully vaccinated and have completed any recommended waiting period after vaccinations.

Feeding & Belongings

  • Owners must provide enough food for the duration of the booking.
  • Special diets and allergies must be disclosed before the stay.
  • Comfort items are welcome but not required.
  • Belongings (particularly food & any meds) must be labelled clearly.
  • We cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged belongings.

Training & Grooming

  • Basic training reinforcement is included during boarding.
  • Some cases may require specialist behavioural support beyond our services.
  • Nail trimming is available for £10.
  • Basic bathing and brushing will be provided where needed at no additional cost.

Dog Walking & Pet Drop-Ins

  • We will provide care at the agreed dates and times.
  • Owners must ensure pets are suitable for the requested service.
  • A meet & greet is necessary.
  • We are responsible only for pet-related items in our care and are not liable for loss of keys, theft, break-ins, or damage to personal property beyond our control.

Payments & Cancellations

  • Payment is due before or at the start of the booking unless otherwise agreed.
  • A deposit may be required for bookings.
  • At least 24 hours' notice is required for cancellations, deposits are none refundable if care is cancelled by the owner.
  • Late cancellations, no-shows, or shortened bookings may not be refunded or may incur additional charges.

Emergencies & Liability

  • Every reasonable effort will be made to keep pets safe and secure.
  • In an emergency, we may seek veterinary treatment and contact the owner or emergency contact.
  • Pet care services involve inherent risks, including illness, injury, escape, or, in rare cases, death.
  • By booking with us, you accept these risks and agree not to hold us liable for events beyond our reasonable control.

 

Owner Agreement

By booking our services, you confirm that:

  • You are the pet's owner or authorised keeper.
  • All information provided is accurate.
  • You have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions and Policies
  • You authorise us to care for your pet during the agreed booking period.
